In the active/passive Columa 700 (without ‘R’ = without a receiver), the CL 700 SW is employed as an active subwoofer. A down-firing long-throw 250 mm bass driver is combined with a 150 watt RMS amplifier (200 watts of music power) in the bass reflex housing to produce remarkably tight bass frequencies right down to 30 Hertz. The subwoofer delivers sufficient bass power to fill rooms up to 35 m² in size.The system ships with a remote control for setting the volume level and crossover frequency directly from the listening spot.
