You won’t need to purchase an A/V receiver or amplifier. Just unpack the system, plug it in, and you can immediately start enjoying an immersive, room-filling sound. The elegant high-gloss columns deliver the same thrilling Teufel sound and powerful bass for music, movies, and games.

The following devices can be connected to the DecoderStation 5 Mk2 via SPDIF (TOSLINK or coaxial) or stereo cinch cable for authentic 5.1 sound: Playstation, media streamer, DVB-T/C/S receiver, TV, Computer, iPod dock, MP3 player, DJ mixer, CD player, Blu-ray player, tablet, or notebook. Stereo signals can also be converted into surround sound.

A 5.1 integrated amplifier in the subwoofer distributes 250 watts to the five columns and bass driver in its sleek bass reflex enclosure. An ample 200 mm driver creates a full, well-round and precise bass. The recessed connection panel on the back of the subwoofer enables easy positioning next to a wall.

This magnetically screened loudspeaker ensures the audibility of the speech in film soundtracks. It should be placed directly under the screen for optimal effectiveness – either by use of its included speaker cradle or using a wall mount.

This ultra compact control device serves as a preamp for a 5.1-powered subwoofer. The Decoder Station Mk2 offers four digital (optical and 2x 2 x coaxial) inputs plus four stereo analog inputs (1 x 5.1, 1 x stereo). These are located on the back of the device and are suitable for the connection of many different devices. Thanks to an amplifier with 100 watts of power, the US 2108/6 SW bass that goes down to an incredible 45-Hz. The internal limiter protects the subwoofer from overload and distortion.
At the back there is a phase switch and sockets for direct connection of the surround speakers. And on the back you can easily connect the Decoder or the Control Station 5 mark 2.
